I'm a lifelong gardener who fell in love with growing flowers from seed about fifteen years ago when my daughter brought home a marigold packet from school. What started as a backyard experiment became an obsession—I now grow over fifty flower varieties annually, from easy cottage garden staples to more temperamental species. I maintain a detailed growing journal, experiment with different planting methods, and spend way too much time photographing blooms at peak color. When I'm not in the garden, I'm usually writing about it or planning next season's varieties. I have two rescue cats who occasionally help (mostly by lying in freshly prepared beds).
